Buying A Watch

You can buy a watch directly from our website or schedule an appointment to buy a watch in person at our office located in Arcadia, California. If you have any further questions, visit the contact us page to get in touch with our customer service team.

Yes, please contact us to schedule a viewing or consultation and let us know which watch(es) you would like to see and prior to your purchase.

Our watches are shipped within 1-2 business days upon receiving payment in full. If you need to make arrangements to have a package held at a FedEx location or if you need a package delayed, please contact us directly.

Tiger River Watches uses FedEx Priority Overnight Shipping. We also insure every package for its full replacement value. Please note that a signature will be required upon delivery.

We accept the following brands but are not limited to: Rolex, Audemars Piguet, Patek Philippe, Richard Mill

Yes, we accept trades on a case-by-case basis. Normally, we will use your watch as credit toward any of our watches we have on our site.

Preliminary trade-in values can be conveyed via phone and/or email contact, however all timepieces must be inspected, authenticated, and appraised by Tiger River Watches team in person before a firm trade-in credit can be specified.

You will have the option of a bank wire-transfer or a check. Please notify us of your payment preferences upon confirming our purchase offer.

Bank wire-transfers are initiated within 24 hours, checks will be sent out the same day upon agreement and will arrive between 3-5 business days.

*Clients bringing their watch in for a scheduled on-site evaluation will have the option of cash payment, please contact us for more details.

Your watch’s value will be evaluated based on 7 primary categories but not limited to: the overall condition of the watch, dial, crystal, bracelet, crown, timing, and if box and papers will be included. Years of market research and data also goes into consideration to provide you with the best offer for your watch.

The shipping label we provide to you to send us your watch will be fully insured and if at any point during the watch selling process you decide to change your mind, we will ship your watch back to you fully insured in transit. in the same condition it was sent to us, and cover the return shipping costs.

About Our Watches

Yes, all photos are of the actual watch you will be receiving. You’ll see the text “Actual Photo” which indicates each watch was uniquely shot and published.

If a watch has the original box and/or papers it will be stated and the picture of the box and paperwork will be shown. Otherwise, the watch will come with a Tiger River Watches presentation box and the watch will have been discounted accordingly. Many of our customers prefer the savings when there are no box and papers.

All packages received by Tiger River Watches are opened under video tape when they arrive at the store and if/when they leave the store.

All of our watches are 100% certified authentic. We carry ourselves with honesty and integrity and will never sell a counterfeit watch or a watch containing counterfeit parts.

 

Strap and bracelet sizes can vary; most of the watches we listed are sized for the average wrist size. Please contact us if you have any questions in regards to sizing or feel free to schedule an appointment with us to have your watch sized.

Payment Options

We accept payment by wire-transfer, credit card, and cash. We do not accept anything that is not FDIC insured.

 

We will notify you by email that your payment has been received. We will send you an additional email when your watch is scheduled to ship with a tracking number.

If payment is made by credit card, we will reach out to you to verify and authenticate your identity.

All purchases will be conducted either in person at our office in Arcadia, or online only. There are no other methods to purchase from us. We will never ask for additional information without verifying your transaction. All wire transfers will go to Chase Bank with the beneficiary name of Tiger River Corp.

 

Returns

We have a 3-day return policy. In order to successfully return your watch you should notify us via email and phone call within 72-hours of your purchase. You have 2 business days to ship the watch back to us.

The watch, box, and papers (if applicable) must be returned in the same condition as you have received it in. Tags must also still be attached to receive a full refund.

We will issue the refund within 1 – 2 business days after we receive and are in possession of the watch.

We will pay to return your watch to you via FedEx Express Saver.

In the event we offer the full preliminary value on your item and it’s declined, you (the customer) will be held responsible for the return shipping cost, included but not limited to shipping fees and insurance.

Please note that Tiger River Watches does not accept counterfeit items. Therefore, it is the customer’s sole responsibility to cover shipping and insurance to receive their items back.
