Buying A Watch
How Do I Buy A Watch?
You can buy a watch directly from our website or schedule an appointment to buy a watch in person at our office located in Arcadia, California. If you have any further questions, visit the contact us page to get in touch with our customer service team.
Can I See A Watch In Person Before Buying?
Absolutely. Purchasing a luxury watch is a big decision, and we want you to feel fully confident about the condition of the timepiece.
If you're located in Los Angeles County, we warmly welcome you to visit our showroom in Arcadia, California. To ensure a high-quality experience, we kindly ask that you schedule an appointment with us in advance.
If you're out of state or unable to visit in person, we’re happy to provide detailed photos and videos of the watch. We can also arrange a live video call so you can inspect every detail in real time before making your purchase.
How Quickly Do You Ship Once I Purchase A Watch Online?
Our watches are shipped within 5 – 7 business days after funds are clear. If you need a package delayed, please contact us directly.
How Are Watches Shipped And Are They Insured In Transit?
Tiger River Watches ships your order via FedEx Priority Overnight for fast and secure delivery. Every package is fully insured for its replacement value. To ensure maximum protection, we ship to the nearest FedEx location for secure in-store pickup. We will confirm the most convenient FedEx store with you before shipping.
Selling Your Watch
How Do I Sell A Watch?
We offer two convenient ways to sell your watch.
You’re welcome to schedule an in-store appointment for a personal consultation. However, to save you time, we also offer a fully remote process. Simply send us the watch’s details, including brand, model, condition, and the year of purchase. Once we receive that information, our sales team will provide an initial quote within 24 hours.
If you’re happy with the estimate, you can then bring or ship the watch to us for inspection. After verifying the condition in person, we’ll present you with a final offer. Once you approve, we’ll proceed with the purchase right away.

What Brands Do You Buy?
We accept the following brands, but are not limited to: Rolex, Audemars Piguet, Patek Philippe, Richard Mille.
Does Tiger River Watches Accept Trades?
Yes, we accept trades on a case-by-case basis. Normally, we will use your watch as credit toward any of our watches we have on our site.
Preliminary trade-in values can be conveyed via phone and/or email contact, however all timepieces must be inspected, authenticated, and appraised by Tiger River Watches team in person before a firm trade-in credit can be specified.
How Will I Be Paid For My Watch
You will have the option of a bank wire-transfer, cash, or a check. Please notify us of your payment preferences upon confirming our purchase offer.
When Will I Get Paid For My Watch?
Bank wire transfers are initiated within 24 hours, checks will be sent out the same day upon agreement and will arrive between 3-5 business days.
How Is My Watch’s Value Determined?
Your watch’s value will be evaluated based on 7 primary categories but not limited to: the overall condition of the watch, dial, crystal, bracelet, crown, timing, and if box and papers will be included. Years of market research and data also goes into consideration to provide you with the best offer for your watch.
Will My Watch Be Safe When Shipped?
The shipping label we provide for sending your watch to us will be fully insured. If, at any point during the selling process, you decide to change your mind, we will return your watch in the same condition it was received, fully insured in transit, and we will cover the return shipping costs.
Can I Bring My Watch in-person instead of shipping it?
Absolutely, please schedule an appointment with us. We gladly offer an on-site evaluation and same day payment.
When Will I Receive my Offer?
We will contact you within 24 hours with our detailed valuation and offer for your watch.
About Our Watches
Do Your Watches Come With The Original Box And Papers?
If a watch has the original box and/or papers it will be stated and the picture of the box and paperwork will be shown. Otherwise, the watch will come with a Tiger River Watches presentation box and the watch will have been discounted accordingly. Many of our customers prefer the savings when there are no box and papers.
How Do I Know You Haven’t Tampered With My Watch?
All packages received by Tiger River Watches are opened under video tape when they arrive at the store and if/when they leave the store.
How Do I Know If Your Watches Are Authentic?
All of our watches are 100% certified authentic. We carry ourselves with honesty and integrity and will never sell a counterfeit watch or a watch containing counterfeit parts.
Will The Strap Or Bracelet Fit My Wrist?
Strap and bracelet sizes can vary; most of the watches we listed are sized for the average wrist size. Please contact us if you have any questions in regards to sizing or feel free to schedule an appointment with us to have your watch sized.
Payment Options
What Types of Payments Do You Accept?
We accept payment by wire-transfer, credit card, and cash. We do not accept anything that is not FDIC insured.
How Do I Know If My Payment Was Successful?
We will notify you by email that your payment has been received. We will send you an additional email when your watch is scheduled to ship with a tracking number.
Is My Purchase Secure?
All purchases will be conducted either in person at our office in Arcadia, online, Ebay, or Chrono 24 only. There are no other methods to purchase from us. We will never ask for additional information without verifying your transaction. All wire transfers will go to the Cathay Bank with the beneficiary name of TIGER RIVER WATCHES & JEWELRY INC.
Return or Refund
What Is Your Return Policy?
Once your order has been processed or shipped, we do not accept returns, as all items are considered final sale. However, if the item is not authentic or not as described, it is eligible for return in accordance with our return policy. This exception applies only to pre-owned products; all unworn or brand new products are not eligible for return. For full details, please visit our Return Policy page.
When Will My Refund Be Issued?
Even if the return is accepted and refunded, we will refund you the original purchase price minus applicable fees.
